Stonebridge to Transform Bethesda’s Clark Building with a $24M Renovation

Stonebridge has launched a $24 million capital improvements and rebranding program for the Clark Building, a 340,000-square-foot, Class A office building in downtown Bethesda, MA.

Transwestern’s Phillip McCarthy, Keith Foery, Mark Boyce and Karla Rivera will lead the repositioning and relaunching of the 16-story property as 7500 Old Georgetown.

“7500 Old Georgetown is filling an important gap in the market between traditional office environments and new trophy-priced office product,” said Foery.

A major element of the renovation program reimagines the building with a new building façade, exterior plaza, and an activated lobby that will be expanded by 50% and provide collaboration spaces in both its lobby and exterior plaza.

The main lobby will feature a 20-foot-high art installation, while a new tenant metro level lounge will provide direct connectivity to the Bethesda Metro Station. The 16th floor will house a 5,200-square-foot fitness center and a 3,500-square-foot conference center with seating for 100.
