Stockdale Holds Final Close on Opportunities Fund at $700M

Stockdale Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm focused on distressed, event-driven opportunities, held final closing of SCP Real Estate Opportunities Fund II, L.P., with total capital commitments exceeding $700 million from leading institutional investors globally.

The fund closed total primary commitments of $500 million, more than 50% higher than its predecessor fund, and more than $200 million of co-investment capital commitments to date. Institutional investors include U.S. and international public and private pension funds, endowments, foundations, prominent family offices and financial institutions.

“In what has been a very difficult fundraising environment, Stockdale is grateful for the continued strong support from its existing partners and is also excited to welcome several new partners,” said Michael Lewis, Stockdale’s managing director and head of capital formation. “These are some of the most sophisticated institutional investors globally, and we understand and appreciate the trust and confidence they have placed in us to invest capital on their behalf.”
