Stockdale Buys Texas Shopping Center for $47.5M

Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm Stockdale Capital Partners has acquired Arboretum Crossing, a 20-acre, 192,000-square-foot shopping center in Austin, TX. Stockdale purchased the property, its first in the Austin market, out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy for $47.5 million.

“Stockdale Capital Partners is proud to make Arboretum Crossing our first acquisition in Austin, Texas,” said Stockdale Managing Partner Daniel Michaels. “We are committed to long-term investment in the City of Austin, which is expected to continue to benefit from attractive demographic and economic tailwinds that have supported the region’s growth during the past decade.”

Arboretum Crossing is located at 9333 Research Blvd. with attractive visibility from Highway 183, and sits between two major employment centers, The Domain and Austin’s CBD. The shopping center’s tenants include Dave and Buster’s, World Market and was also home to a Bed Bath and Beyond location before it shut down.
