Stockdale Buys Houston's Intercontinental Hotel

Stockdale Buys 354-Key Houston Hotel

Stockdale Capital Partners paid an undisclosed amount to acquire The InterContinental Houston. Built in 2019, it offers a range of amenities that include Safina Restaurant, The Naturalist Café and Lounge, 18,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor pool.

The 21-story building also shares a lobby with a Greystar apartment development dubbed Latitude Med Center.

The InterContinental Houston was developed by Houston-based Medistar Corp. and TRC Capital Partners. It’s adjacent to the Texas Medical Center (TMC)

Stockdale Capital Partners said part of the reason the company was attracted to the hotel was that it is situated in the TMC’s path of growth. The TMC is expected to double in size over the next decade, with $3 billion of developments in medical and life sciences research facilities already underway.
