State Shuts Down Five Guys Burgers in Wichita Falls

A Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Wichita Falls, TX has been shut down by the state comptroller’s office. The fast-food restaurant, situated at 3100 Midwestern Pkwy., closed its doors after being served a limited seizure of property for roughly $31,000 in unpaid sales tax.

KFDX reports the eatery could continue to operate, given the sales tax permit was not revoked, but suspended. The store’s locks, however, have reportedly been changed.

The location along Midwestern is the chain’s only location in the area.
