State Department Remains in Rosslyn in $200M, 343K-SF Deal
The State Department is staying in Rosslyn, VA after the General Services Administration signed a 343,000-square-foot lease valued at $200.6 million with Monday Properties. The deal includes a lease renewal at 1701 N. Fort Myer Dr., where the State already occupied, as well as an additional 60,000 square feet next door at 1200 Wilson Blvd.
The landlord committed to roughly $15 million in TI work, including building a secured, above-grade connector that will link the lobbies of the two buildings. Monday Properties has completed more than 1.1 million square feet of new or renewal leases over the past 18 months.
GSA’s Santoni Graham and Gary Arabak, along with CBRE’s Henry Chapman and Sara Dunstan, represented the federal government. Monday Properties’ Tim Helmig and John Wharton represented the landlord, along with FD Stonewater’s Joe Delogu and Chad Habeeb.
