Starwood Sees Many Key Benefits in Keystone at Castle Hills

Keystone at Castle Hills, a 690-unit multifamily community located at 4600 N. Josey Ln. in Carrollton, recently sold to Miami-based Starwood Capital Group. Starwood purchased the property from Acre Valley Real Estate Capital.

The Keystone at Castle Hills apartment community is near Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Legacy Business Park and The Shops at Willow Bend. The property benefits from a recent amenity upgrade.

Danny Baker, Nita Stewart, Chandler Sims and Kevin O’Boyle with CBRE represented the seller.

“This property benefits from a diverse and high-earning employment base, bolstering rent growth opportunities,” said Baker. “We are on track for a record year in 2021, as we continue to see more out-of-state investors establishing or expanding a presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth multifamily market, especially the North and Northwest Dallas suburbs.”

According to CBRE’s 2021 Global Multifamily Investor Intentions Survey, DFW is the third most preferred market in the Americas for multifamily investors, with 26 percent of survey respondents choosing the metro. Investors in the survey demonstrated strong interest in Sun Belt markets overall.
