Star Cinema Grill Taking Space at Springwoods Village

Houston-based Star Cinema Grill inked a long-term lease for space at CityPlace, a mixed-use urban hub in the 2,000-acre, master-planned Springwoods Village. The 10-screen theater is scheduled to open in spring 2019 at 1495 Lake Plaza Dr. in Spring, TX, north of Houston. The new theater is Star Cinema Grill’s 10th.

CityPlace is a 60-acre, mixed-use project under development by Patrinely Group. Currently under construction are a 378,000-square-foot HP Inc. campus, and the American Bureau of Shipping’s new 326,800-square-foot headquarters. Both developments are scheduled for completion in late 2018, and will house 3,000 employees combined. Also going north is the Marriott CityPlace at Springwoods Village, a 337-room, 10-story hotel.

Upon buildout, Springwoods Village is expected to house 35,000-40,000 employees, and offer 5,500 residential units.
