Staples Takes Down 263K SF of Warehouse/Distribution Space

Staples Contract & Commercial Inc., which most people know as an office product supply company, inked a deal with Specht Development Inc. for 263,413 square feet of the Interstate Crossroads Distribution Center (ICDC) in Portland, OR. Staples will use the facility at 16441 N.E. Cameron Blvd. to store and distribute consumer goods.

Specht developed the project with help from partner, Pacific Coast Capital Partners LLC, and the project delivered in 2015. The 492,554-square-foot facility is on 28.1 acres. The Staples lease brings it to 100% occupancy. “Our goal with developments like ICDC is to create speculative industrial product that will meet the specific demands of future warehouse, distribution and manufacturing tenants and users,” said Specht Development’s CEO Greg Specht.

ICDC was represented by Paul Breuer and Jerry Matson of the Portland office of Colliers International.
