Stantec Deal Brings Pasadena Tower to Full-Occupancy
Stantec signed a roughly 29,000-square-foot lease renewal/expansion at Gateway Plaza, a 13-story, 281,882-square-foot office property in Pasadena, CA. The deal brings the Class A asset at 300 North Lake Ave. to 100% occupancy.
The global engineering firm has been a tenant at the property since 2014. The growing company’s newest lease terms are for seven years, and it will be expanding into the building’s remaining vacancy of nearly 3,000 square feet. Upon completion of tenant improvements, Stantec will expand into the new space, beginning in October 2019.
The tenant was represented by Lee Kiziak, Director of Stantec Corporate Real Estate, as well as JLL’s Matt Perrigue and DJ Goldberg. Avison Young’s Andrew Berk and Chase Gordon represented the landlord.
Gordon says, “In addition to the growing tech community here, the City of Pasadena has come into its own as a regional leader for attracting architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms.”
