Standard Communities Expands Office Nationwide 

National affordable housing developer Standard Communities has extended its principal offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., while also opening new offices in Miami and Nashville. The business’s staff has grown to around 90 employees. 

Standard has expanded its portfolio by over 10,000 units since 2021, now totaling nearly 19,000 residential units. The company has seen its portfolio’s total value surge from $2 billion in 2021 to approximately $4.4 billion. 

“Our investment in new and updated office spaces is really an investment in our people and the work they do. In-person collaboration provides significant value and is crucial in fostering effective teamwork and achieving our ambitious goals,” said Scott Alter, co-founder and principal of Standard Communities
