Stan Johnson Company Brokers $11M Sale of Industrial Facility in Winston-Salem
Stan Johnson Company has completed the $11.4-million sale of 90,499-square-foot industrial real estate building leased to Collins Aerospace in Winston-Salem, NC. The lease is guaranteed by the tenant’s parent company, Raytheon Technologies, a global defense contractor with 2021 annual revenues of $64.6 billion.
Jonathan Ameen of Stan Johnson Company represented the buyer, an individual investor. Maggie Holmes of Stan Johnson Company represented the seller, a REIT based in Dallas, TX.
“This facility represents a generational asset for my client and an attractive disposition for the seller in the midst of interest rate headwinds,” said Ameen. “It is yet another reminder that the market for critical industrial assets is still very strong.”
The facility sits on 5.5 acres on Empire Drive. Collins Aerospace has operated the facility for fourteen years and has invested nearly $2 million for upgrades and renovations to its assembly and distribution lines.
