Stan Johnson Co. Arranges First U.S. Sale of Lidl Grocery Store

Investment sales brokerage firm Stan Johnson Co. has completed the ground lease sale of a Lidl grocery store in Marietta. The location is the first investment sale transaction for the brand since entering the U.S. market in 2017. The sales price was $4.8 million.

Located at 670 Whitlock Ave., the 29,136-square-foot retail building was constructed in 2020 and sits on three acres. The 20-year, absolute triple net lease features regular rent increases.

Mike Sladich, Joey Odom, Maggie Holmes, Mollie Alteri and Michael Watson of Stan Johnson Co. represented the Atlanta-based seller, Blanchard Real Estate, in the transaction. The property was acquired by a foreign investment fund.
