Stamford Offices Secure Permanent Loan from BMO
Avison Young arranged a $22.5-million permanent mortgage loan on behalf of an investor group led by Mountain Development Corp. (MDC) for Harbor Square, a 165,114-square-foot multi-building office campus at 700 and 850 Canal St. in Stamford, CT. Bank of Montreal (BMO) provided the financing.
Avison Young’s Tri-State Debt and Equity Finance team led by principals Scott Singer and Andy Singer, executive director Kevin Swartz and senior director Jeff Moroch arranged the financing alongside MDC president Michael Seeve. BMO’s team was led by Rich Bianchi and Rick Grassey.
“This financing reflects both the enduring appeal of well-located, institutionally managed office assets and the continued momentum we are seeing throughout Stamford,” said Scott Singer. “Harbor Square offers a unique combination of historic architecture, transit connectivity and strong ownership, and BMO recognized the quality of both the asset and Mountain Development’s exceptional track record. We are proud to have advised MDC on this important financing.”
