St. George Logistics Taps New CFO

Chicago-based St. George Logistics, which provides specialty 3PL and transportation services to the global supply chain, has hired Joseph Tomczak as its new CFO. Tomczak most recently served as CFO at Neovia Logistics, where he played a key role in Neovia’s sale to Goldman Sachs and Rhone Capital.

The logistics industry veteran has also served in senior executive roles with Martin-Brower, TDS Logistics/Syncreon International and the Yucaipa Companies. He comes to St. George two years after its acquisition by private equity firm Wind Point Partners, also based in Chicago.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to join St. George Logistics,” said Tomczak. “The business has grown dramatically since the initial acquisition, and the team has aggressive plans for future expansion,” both organic and acquisition-related.
