St. Anthony’s Hospital to Build $152M Patient Tower

St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg plans to build a $152-million, 90-bed patient tower as part of a major expansion and renovation.

Once the project is completed, St. Anthony’s would have 448 beds, making it one of the largest hospitals in St. Petersburg. The new four-story tower will be constructed on top of the existing three-story hospital structure, according to plans submitted to the St. Petersburg Development Review Commission.

Construction on the expansion is slated to start in early 2020. The project architect is Tampa-based Gresham, Smith & Partners. The contractor is Robins & Morton in Orlando. The hospital is located at 1200 7th Ave. N in St. Petersburg’s Uptown neighborhood.
