SRS Real Estate Partners has hired Rick Fernandez as senior managing director for the firm’s national net lease group in Washington D.C. The firm’s Washington D.C. office was established last month, with Andrew Fallon as market leader.

Fernandez has experience in many areas of net lease real estate, including urban retail, single and multi-tenant net lease, commercial land brokerage, real estate underwriting, lease evaluation, contract negotiations, and in assisting individual buyers and family trusts searching for replacement properties to complete 1031 exchanges. Prior to joining SRS, Rick was senior managing director of Calkain Companies, where he also served as a member on the Executive Committee.

Also joining the Washington D.C. office is Lana Caravello as transaction coordinator for the National Net Lease Group.
