Squarespace Fills Out 225 Varick St.
For the first time in 20 years, the office tower at 225 Varick St. is fully-occupied in Manhattan’s Hudson Square neighborhood.
Squarespace leased the last available space, adding another 50,000 square feet to its existing offices at the 12-story building, and bringing its total space to 140,000 square feet. So, Squarespace will now occupy more than a third of the 376,749-square-foot tower. The asking rent was in the high $70s, according to reporting in the Real Deal.
CBRE’s Rocco Laginestra and Paul Myers represented Squarespace, and CBRE’s Howard Fiddle, Paul Amrich and Neil King advised building owner Trinity Real Estate.
