Square Mile Provides $106M Loan for 600 Battery
New York-based Square Mile Capital Management LLC originated a $106.2-million loan secured by 600 Battery Street, a Class A 118,000-square-foot creative office building in the Jackson Square submarket of San Francisco. Invesco Real Estate and TMG Partners acquired the asset in January 2019. The property was built in 1938, and fully renovated in 2000.
The financing includes proceeds to fund the acquisition, as well as future proceeds to fund leasing costs and capital expenditures.
Square Mile Capital’s Eric Cohen said, “We are pleased to continue our lending relationship with Invesco and build new ties with TMG Partners, an experienced owner and operator of San Francisco real estate with deep local market expertise. San Francisco continues to be a target market for our firm, and this asset represents an attractive, institutional-quality addition to our growing Bay Area portfolio.”
CBRE’s Michael Walker and Brad Zampa arranged the financing.
