Square Mile Capital Provides $184M for Construction of 600 South Tryon in Charlotte
Square Mile Capital Management, LLC, has originated a $184.3-million loan to facilitate the construction of 600 South Tryon, a 410,000-square-foot Class A office building in Charlotte, NC.
Square Mile Capital provided the financing to a partnership between Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Lincoln Harris. JLL arranged the financing.
“Despite broader market headwinds in the office sector, we are bullish on investing into best-in-class office product in growth markets such as Charlotte alongside top tier sponsors and developers,” said Square Mile Capital principal Eric Cohen.
600 South Tryon will be the fourth phase of the Legacy Union master plan. The 24-story building will feature 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and podium parking, along with conference, co-working and fitness spaces.
Goldman Sachs/Lincoln Harris JV has completed development of the three prior phases of the Legacy Union master plan: Bank of America Tower, Honeywell’s HQ and SIX50.
