Sprouts Opening 3 Houston Stores

There is no stopping Sprouts Farmers Market. Its stock has doubled in a year, and the company just keeps building stores. Now, it’s planning three new stores in Greater Houston. The company is up to 448 stores nationwide.

The Houston Business Journal reports in Kingwood, the Phoenix-based organic grocery store chain has signed a lease for 24,500 square feet of the 61,000-square-foot Kings Crossing anchor space formerly occupied by H-E-B. The store is slated to open in the first quarter of 2026.

About 30 miles to the northwest, in The Woodlands, Sprouts has registered the renovation of 30,478 square feet of a former Randalls building at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive in the Panther Creek Village Center. That store is slated to open in 2026.

Sprouts said another store in the Richmond area is slated to open this August. The company is planning a new 23,256-square-foot building at 19160 W. Bellfort St., near NewQuest’s The Grand at Aliana shopping center.
