Sprout Tiny Homes signed a $26 million contract with Texas Site Development LLC and Tiny Dwelling Co. to provide up to 275 tiny homes for purchase and installation at two sites south of Austin. The initial development, Constellation ATX, is situated 10 miles south of the CBD, and west of Interstate 35. Constellation ATX is scheduled to open in spring 2018, with Sprout Tiny Homes offering several models for sale to potential owners.

A second as-yet unnamed home site is scheduled to open later in 2018 in the south Austin suburb of Kyle, TX. Texas Site Development LLC is developing both sites.

Using sustainable building materials where possible and pushing the boundaries of design and energy efficiency are key attributes of Sprout homes. The company manufactures tiny homes on wheels up to 400 square feet, and homes on foundations up to 900 square feet of living space.

In addition to the tiny homes, Constellation ATX will offer residents a variety of onsite amenities, including a clubhouse, on-site laundry, swimming pool, landscaped parks and outdoor seating. The outdoor areas will include natural gas barbecues, picnic tables and fire pits designed by Mark Wood Design.
