Springwood Self Storage’s Location Sets Buyer Tone

Springwood Self Storage, a 426-unit class-A self-storage facility in the northern part of Austin, recently sold to Wasatch Storage Partners. The purchase price was undisclosed.

Springwood Self Storage comprises one three-story building that opened in 2017. The facility contains three stories with all climate-controlled units, elevator access and security features.

Situated on .89 acres at 9206 Anderson Mill Rd., Springwood Self Storage has more than 150 feet along Anderson Mill Road, a high-traffic Austin arterial and is near Highway 183, FM 620 and Parmer Lane.

The 3-mile radius of the property is home to more than 98,000 residents, which is projected to grow at an annual rate of 1.92 percent during the next five years. Additionally, Robinson Ranch is two miles east of the facility, which houses more than 6,700 acres zoned for development.
