Sports Complex Coming to Pecos

The city of Pecos will soon be breaking ground on a multimillion-dollar sports complex. Construction on the complex, anticipated to be developed at a cost of $4.6 million, will begin within the next few months. Pecos is in West Texas, with the property on SH 118.

The complex has been three years in the making. According to Crisha Molinar with Vision Enterprise, the state-of-the-art complex will involve more than the four baseball fields, which she indicated is much needed for the community. Molinar, whose company worked as the city’s consultant with the project, indicated that the attraction would also be the three-story clubhouse that would sit in the middle of the four fields.

The first two floors will have concessions and a locker room, with the top floor offering a bar and grill with windows that provide views of the facility. Molinar told CBS News 7 in Midland, TX, that the complex could also be used for a multipurpose center for concerts “because one of our baseball fields will have somewhat like an amphitheater.”
