Spokane’s Wonder Building Fetches Newest Tenant

Seattle-based Rover.com signed a lease for nearly 30,000 square feet in Spokane’s recently renovated Wonder Building. The nation’s largest network of 5-star pet sitters and dog walkers, leased the entire top floor and the western end of the second floor, and plans to move into the mixed-use property by May 2019.

The Eastern Washington property, located at 835 North Post St. in the North Bank district, is a 112,000-square-foot creative office building that combines first-class office space and a 12,000-square-foot retail market.

Wonder Spokane’s Pete Mounsey says, “The addition of Rover solidifies the transformation of the historic Wonder Building from a former bread factory into a one of the premier office locations in downtown Spokane.”

JLL’s Blair Stern and Pat Pendergast represented Rover. JLL’s Mike Sharapata, and NAIBlack’s Chris Bell advised the property’s landlord, Wonder Spokane, LLC.
