Speculative Industrial Development Planned Near Charlotte’s Airport
Florida-based development firm McCraney Property Company purchased a 54-acre land parcel less than one mile from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC, and plans to construct a speculative industrial project. Airport South Business Park will encompass a total of 610,700 square feet, spanning five buildings.
McCraney Property Company’s Steven McCraney says, “Airport South Business Park will be a last mile, infill location providing quality end users requiring freight forwarding and fulfillment needs unparalleled access to the airport, Uptown Charlotte, the Greater Charlotte region, and the overall Southeast U.S.”
The property is situated near Billy Graham Parkway and West Boulevard, providing access to Interstates 77, 485, and 85. It will include buildings ranging in size from 154,000 square feet to nearly 100,000 square feet.
The company has more than two million square feet of industrial projects currently under development or planned throughout the Southeast U.S.
