Sparrow Partners Begins Work on 193-Unit Mera City Center

Sparrow Partners launched construction on the first of four planned active-adult communities in the Phoenix area. The Austin-based developer broke ground on the 193-unit Mera City Center in Surprise, AZ. Next up will be the 188-unit Mera Goodyear in Goodyear, AZ, which is planned for a March groundbreaking.

Mera City Center, at 15510 N. LaCometa Ave., is part of the master-planned Surprise City Center. Mera Goodyear, going north at 1375 N. 145th Ave., is next to the planned Centerscape mixed-use development.

Both projects are scheduled to open in spring 2021, and will offer one and two-bedroom floor plans and amenities, including resort-style pools, dog park, fitness center, game lounge, golf simulator, library and two-story clubhouse, as well as planned classes and activities. Fugleberg Koch is the architect.
