Soylent Relocates HQ to DTLA Arts District
Construction is complete on the new Soylent corporate headquarters located within ASB Real Estate Investments and Blatteis & Schnur’s At Mateo campus in the DTLA Arts District. The food technology company relocated from a location in L.A. to accommodate rapid growth at the 180,000-square-foot MXU property at Mateo and Palmetto streets.
Located on the third floor of Building 2, Soylent’s new HQ design is focused on collaboration. The 27,000-square-foot space features open offices, breakout rooms, sample room, game area and a variety of lounge spaces with tiered seating for meetings. A circulation path around the office area, connects five “neighborhoods.”
The new headquarters is also home to the Soylent Innovation Lab, a coworking space for innovative technology companies.
Ware Malcomb provided interior architectural and design services for the project. Ware Malcomb’s Radwan Madani says, “This new headquarters provides an engaging atmosphere for Soylent employees that truly embodies the company’s innovative and collaborative corporate culture.”
