Sovereign Wealth Fund Expands at Seagram Building
Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund Temasek has expanded to nearly 23,000 square feet at RFR Realty’s 375 Park Ave., best known as the Seagram Building. NKF’s Brian Goldman represented Temasek in the expansion.
Additionally, Brazilian-based law firm Demarest Advogados signed a new 10-year lease for a prebuilt space in the iconic building’s tower. The tenant has multiple office locations in Brazil, as well as New York City. Aron Schreier and David Mainthow of Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of the tenant in the transaction.
Specialty finance company Nearwater Capital also signed a new lease for part of a tower floor at the property. Kip Orban of JLL represented Nearwater.
In all three deals, RFR was represented in-house by director of leasing Al Camhi and Ryan Silverman, along with a JLL leasing team including Benjamin Bass, Diana Biasotti, Kristin Morgan and Kip Orban.
