Southerleigh Brewing Co. announced it would open the second location of its restaurant and brewery at Brooks, on San Antonio’s southeast side. The 8,043-square-foot facility will be off Sidney Brooks and Kennedy Hill Drive, with a scheduled opening for fall 2018.

The Brooks location will also overlook the Greenline, a 43-acre urban linear park. The restaurant will offer a large deck and outdoor space, so patrons can enjoy the view. Urbanika Group is the developer of the project, and Gomez Vazquez Architects is the designer of record.

San Antonio chef Jeff Balfour owns the original Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery at 136 E. Grayson St., in San Antonio’s Pearl historic district. The first restaurant opened in 2015.
