Southeastern Grocers to Acquire Multiple Lucky’s Market Locations in Florida

Southeastern Grocers (SEG), the parent company of Winn-Dixie, Bi-Lo, Fresco y Más and Harveys Supermarket supermarkets has announced the acquisition of multiple Lucky’s Market locations and Earth Fare stores in Florida.

The company has purchased four Lucky’s Market stores in Fort Myers, Gainsville, Lake Mary and Melbourne, as well as four Earth Fare locations in Boynton Beach, Jacksonville, Lakewood Ranch and Viera. Each location will be remodeled and converted to a Winn-Dixie banner.

“Winn-Dixie is deeply rooted in Florida, and we are proud to expand our footprint and enhance our presence throughout the state,” said Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of Southeastern Grocers. “We look forward to introducing eight more new appealing stores with fresh, quality products at the right price to deliver a shopping experience our associates, customers and communities can always count on.”
