South Korean Gaming Giant Netmarble Relocating to DTLA

South Korean gaming and entertainment company Netmarble Games Corp. is moving its U.S. offices to Onni Group‘s 600 Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles. The U.S. based division is expanding into 14,000 square feet from its current 5,900-square-foot footprint at 6131 Orangethorpe Ave. in Buena Park.

The relocation into DTLA by mid-2018 brings the fast-growing mobile game company closer to clients such as The Walt Disney Co., Marvel Entertainment and Lucasfilm. Last year, Netmarble raised $2.3 billion in South Korea’s second largest stock offering.

Cresa Los Angeles’ Greg Lovett and Steve Seinfeld assisted the tenant with site selection, workplace strategy and lease negotiations. Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Tashjian represented the landlord.

Tashjian says, “We’re excited to welcome Netmarble to Downtown LA and specifically to the innovative environment we’ve fostered here at 600 Wilshire, which is a building replete with best-in-class amenities and a deep roster of likeminded creative companies.”

In addition to his vast commercial real estate experience, Dennis has worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of residential projects such as Disney’s Celebration in Florida, Ritter Ranch in Palmdale California (7,200 homes, 22,000 acres), WaterColor in Florida and PremierGarage in Phoenix. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
