South Coast Commercial Walks Away with $19M Smyrna Retail Center
South Coast Commercial, LLC, has completed its $18.5-million purchase of Ivy Walk, a 42,499-square-foot neighborhood retail center located in the north Atlanta suburb of Smyrna, GA.
Brad Buchanan, Jim Hamilton and Kahn of JLL represented the seller, MRE Properties.
Ivy Walk was built in 2004 and was 91% occupied at the time of sale to a mix including Muss & Turner’s, South City Kitchen, First Watch, Natural Body Spa and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The property is strategically located at the intersection of Atlanta Road and Cumberland Parkway with visibility to nearly 54,000 vehicles per day and benefits from a captive consumer base derived from the 170 residential townhomes located above and adjacent to the property.
“Ivy Walk is a dynamic and high-performing neighborhood retail center located in one of the most affluent and fastest growing submarkets of the Atlanta MSA,” said Buchanan.
