Sophia Rumpf Named McCullough Landscape Architects' newest Junior Associate

Sophia Rumpf Named McCullough’s New Junior Associate

McCullough Landscape Architecture has welcomed Sophia Rumpf, ASLA, as its newest junior associate, the firm’s 4th new hire this year. She joins the McCullough team of designers and professionals bringing sustainability and creativity to landscape projects throughout the Western U.S.

Rumpf earned her bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with an emphasis on Sustainable Environments. Over the past few years, she has gained experience as Project Designer with Urban Arena and as a freelance Landscape Designer with Rivetti Landscapes.

“We’ve been very impressed by Sophia’s enthusiasm, positive attitude and design sensibilities. She’s a great fit for our team and shares our firm’s core values – particularly an interest in how the human spirit engages with the natural world,” said McCullough’s President and CEO, Catherine McCullough.

About Mark Nieto

Mark comes to ConnectCRE with an extensive background as a business and news reporter in San Francisco radio, as well as 35 years as a traffic reporter on several stations including KGO, KNBR, KCBS and KFRC. As a business reporter, Mark covered the tech world in Silicon Valley where he became familiar with real estate transactions in the hot Bay Area marketplace. He attended San Jose State University with a BA in Radio and TV Broadcasting and currently resides in the Lake Tahoe area where he gets to frequently enjoy all of his favorite activities: Golfing, Fishing, Hiking and Skiing.
