Sonoma County Selling 72-Acre Campus in Santa Rosa

The County of Sonoma is looking to sell The Chanate Campus, a 71.6-acre property in Santa Rosa. Located at 3313 Chanate Rd., the campus consists of 12 parcels located along both sides of Chanate Road and Cobblestone Drive.

The parcels contain roughly 315,993 square-feet of buildings including a four-story vacant former hospital, a 35,000 square-foot office building and a 28,000 square-foot building previously used as mental health facility.

CBRE’ Brian Hutcherson and Mike McShea, along with North Bay Property Advisors’ William Severi and Nick Abbott, are handling the listing.

Hutcherson says, “The Chanate Campus is the largest and most desirable in-fill redevelopment opportunity north of San Francisco, and potentially the West Coast. Given the significant demand for residential development in California and in Santa Rosa specifically, this asset provides an exceptional opportunity to provide housing in an extremely well-located market.”
