SoMa Office Building Gets a Height Boost
It looks like a building in the SoMa area might be larger than expected.
Developers Alexandria Real Estate Equities and TMG Partners filed plans to increase its new office building under development 85 feet, making it total 165 feet tall. 505 Brannan is going to be 135,000 square feet in its initial phase. Then, a second phase is proposed for the addition.
The site is currently a parking lot between the Bay Club Tennis Club and a Bank of America.
The developers are building a spec building that they hope will attract tech tenants.
