Solix Inc. Stays Put in Killeen, Announces Expansion

Solix Inc. opted to stay put in Killeen, TX, and will be expanding its current operations in the city’s downtown area. The company, which provides claims processing and other services, considered other site locations for expansion, and ultimately decided on Killeen due to the incentive package offered by the Killeen Economic Development Corp., as well as available workforce in the area.

To qualify for the KEDC’s job creation incentive, the company is required to maintain a minimum base employment of 175 jobs, as well as to hire and maintain an additional 180 additional full-time jobs over a 36-month period. Solix will remain at its current location at 402 E. Avenue D, and is planning to lease an additional 6,000 square feet at an undetermined location in downtown Killeen.
