SoHa: New Name for South Harlem

New York City realtors have done it again: The slice of Harlem between 110th Street and West 125th Street in Manhattan is now SoHa, which stands for “South Harlem.”

Realtor Keller Williams has a SoHa team with a dedicated office, working specifically on SoHa, according to DNAinfo — though the name “SoHa” no longer appears on its website. SoHa 118, “The Face of South Harlem”, is a new condominium development now selling at 301 West 118th St.

“It’s not something longtime residents use,” said Danni Tyson, a real estate broker and a member of Manhattan Community Board 10, which covers Central Harlem, to DNAinfo.
