Social and Wellness Club Makes Debut at East Williamsburg Offices

The Hudson Companies has inked a 10-year, 4,570-square foot lease with Ethel’s Club, a new social and wellness club catering to people of color, at its repositioned Breeze office building in East Williamsburg.

Ben Waller of ABS Partners represented Hudson, and Roy Abraham of WeWork Space Services advised Ethel’s Club. The East Williamsburg space is the first Ethel’s Club location and is expected to open in November.

“Ethel’s Club is a perfect tenant for the breezeway at The Breeze,” said Alison Novak, Hudson principal. “A social and wellness club serving communities of color fits beautifully with the kind of visibility and connection provided by just this spot.”

The club’s move to The Breeze follows Hudson’s signing of a 6,000-square-foot rooftop bar and restaurant deal with the team behind the popular Lavender Lake bar and restaurant in Gowanus.
