The new Soboba Casino Resort opens today—a huge transformation from the previous casino that operated in a tent structure for more than two decades. The new property features a 200-room hotel—something the previous property did not have—as well as a roomy gaming floor, a golf course, a pool, conference space, and multiple restaurants (pictured above).

The number of games—2,000 slots and 32 table games—remains the same as at the old casino, but there’s more room between the machines. Some games are player favorites from the original property, while others are new.

Hotel rooms are available in a variety of sizes from 455-square-foot deluxe rooms to the nearly 1,800-square-foot Presidential Suites. The resort’s 15,000-square-foot conference center can be configured as one large room, two medium-sized ones, or four smaller rooms. It can accommodate weddings and meetings, and could also be used as a concert venue.

“[The event space] allows us to do so much more,” said Soboba Tribal Council Vice Chairman Isaiah Vivanco. “We’re not confined to one space for one group.”
