SMS Assist Promotes Shiffman to CEO

Facilities management platform SMS Assist has named Marc Shiffman its new CEO, effective immediately. Shiffman’s new role is a promotion from inside the company’s ranks. He has held key positions at SMS Assist over the past decade, most recently as president and COO.

Shiffman (pictured) has been a driving force behind the venture capital-backed SMS Assist’s growth in revenues and profitability. He succeeds outgoing CEO Taylor Rhodes, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities.

“SMS Assist has gotten to where we are today by staying true to our founders’ vision, hustling harder than anyone else in the industry, and continuously reimagining how to best serve our customers and affiliates,” Shiffman said. “It is my honor to step into this role as SMS Assist’s CEO.”

Company founder and board chairman Mike Rothman called Shiffman “an impressive, proven executive who has been instrumental in our success to date.”
