SMS Assist Adds Chief Product Officer

SMS Assist has hired longtime technology executive Kevin McDunn as chief product officer. McDunn (pictured) will lead all aspects of the tech platform’s product innovation strategy for multisite property management services.

McDunn, with previous experience at Lenovo, Google and Motorola, was most recently chief product officer at UI LABS, an accelerator that rebranded as MxD in February. While with UI LABS, McDunn developed a strategic digital manufacturing investment plan that maximized value creation for more than 300 industry, academic, start-up and government institutions.

“Our company is built on powerful products and innovative ideas,” said Taylor Rhodes, CEO of SMS Assist. “Kevin has successfully blended the two throughout his career, and we look forward to the impact he’ll make across our organization.”

Based in downtown Chicago, SMS Assist currently has a global workforce of more than 800.
