Smoothie Franchise Signs Long-Term Lease with Eagle Development

Baya Bar has signed a long-term lease for a 1,500-square-foot retail space on the ground floor of Eagle Development Corp.’s new boutique condominium 233 Eighteenth, at the corner of Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn’s Greenwood Heights neighborhood.

A franchise, this will be Baya Bar’s 12th location. The franchise aims to offer a healthier fast-food option with premium products in their smoothies, smoothie bowls, and fresh, cold-pressed juices.

“Baya Bar will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and we expect that many of our buyers, who will be moving in later this year, will enjoy its offerings along with the rest of the community,” said Ioannis Glyptis, principal, Eagle Development Corp.

Sales at the Tom Winter Architects-designed 233 Eighteenth began this spring and 65% of units are already in contract. Occupancy is anticipated for fall.
