SMCP Moves North American HQ to 44 Wall

SMCP Brands has signed on for a full floor of 17,337 square at EQ Office’s 44 Wall St. Under the 10-year lease, the company will move its North American headquarters and showroom from 10 Crosby St. to the 12th floor of the 24-story boutique property, following a buildout of the space by EQ Office.

With three distinct contemporary fashion brands—Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot—SMCP seeks to become the global leader in accessible luxury. Founded in Paris, SMCP has a presence on five continents.

“The iconic brands behind SMCP all possess an entrepreneurial legacy, and this passion has driven the company’s impressive growth throughout the world,” said EQ Office’s Scott Silverstein.

NKF’s Stephen Gordon and Nathan Kropp represented SMCP. “Their lease is representative of Lower Manhattan’s shift to a more diverse tenancy that includes nearly nine million square feet of transactions with fashion and creative tenants,” said Gordon.
