Small Texas Town Site of Master-Planned Community

Splendora, population as of the 2020 census, 1,683. If the Signorelli Company follows through with their master planned community, the town might soon have ten times that. The company purchased 3,000 acres in the small town 35 miles northeast of Houston and hopes to build 7,000 homes, along with one million square feet of multifamily, office, medical, retail and hotel space. The master plan will also feature a variety of amenities, including hundreds of acres of open space, numerous parks, miles of meandering trails, and various recreation areas.

“The community is planned to provide a unique lifestyle program for residents, encouraging them to get outside with nature,” said Signorelli’s Mike Miller.

The company is expected to break ground on the homesites third quarter of 2022 and hopes for delivery by the end of 2023. The commercial projects will follow.

The Signorelli Company currently builds across nine counties making up the Greater Houston area.
