SLR Capital Renews, Expands at 500 Park Ave.
JLL completed a 28,165-square-foot lease at 500 Park Ave. in Midtown Manhattan for SLR Capital Partners. A leading commercial finance platform, the tenant renewed its lease on the entire third floor for 19,684 square feet and expanded by 8,481 square feet on the partial sixth floor.
Constructed in 1984, 500 Park is a 40-story tower that features commercial office space on the lower floors and luxury condominiums on the upper floors. The property recently completed a Gensler-designed lobby upgrade.
Ownership was represented by JLL vice chairmen Cynthia Wasserberger and Frank Doyle and AVP Georgina Cook. SLR was represented by JLL vice chairman Rob Martin and SVP Dan Santagata.
“The tenant’s commitment to 500 Park Ave. positively reinforces the importance of the office place as tenants return to work, and it validates New York City’s position as a pivotal place of business for boutique financial service firms,” said Wasserberger.
