Slate Property Tops Out Williamsburg MF Building

Slate Property Group, in partnership with Avenue Realty Capital and SD Builders and Construction LLC, has topped out 159 Boerum Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The 162-unit building now stands at 216 feet tall at the roof line.

The multifamily building, designed by Aufgang Architects, includes 49 affordable apartments and amenities such as a fitness center, a roof deck, a parking garage, and bike storage. Setbacks above the 12th and 16th floors will create large outdoor terraces. Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025. 159 Boerum is Slate’s second major ground-up construction project in the area.

“For a city facing a housing crisis, every building and every apartment matters. We look forward to rapidly finishing 159 Boerum so we can make this building a home for New Yorkers,” said David Schwartz, Principal of Slate Property Group.
