CBRE Says Manhattan Q1 Office Leasing Activity Up Nearly 100% Y-O-Y

SL Green Taps JLL Team to Lease One Madison

JLL has been selected by SL Green Realty Corp. as exclusive leasing agent for One Madison Ave. A team of Paul Glickman, Alexander Chudnoff, Daniel Turkewitz, Diana Biasotti and Benjamin Bass will provide a full range of marketing and leasing services for the planned 1.4 million-square-foot redevelopment.

“One Madison Avenue is one of the city’s most storied buildings,” said Glickman. “SL Green is in the midst of an ambitious redevelopment of the historic property that will create one of the newest and most advanced modern buildings in Midtown.”

The REIT tapped Kohn Pedersen Fox to design the redevelopment, which entails removing three upper floors and constructing 18 new ones, for a total of 1.4 million square feet of office space.

The 26-story property that results will feature 470,000 square feet of new column-free tower floors, with floor-to-ceiling glass and 14’ 3” ceiling heights. A late 2022 completion is expected.
