SL Green Starts Q2 with 107K SF of Leases

SL Green Realty Corp. signed 12 office leases totaling 107,325 square feet in the first three weeks of April. This includes 34,013 square feet at One Vanderbilt Ave., bringing the under-construction tower to more than 67% leased.

Highlights include:

• InTandem Capital Partners and Sagewind Capital jointly leased 10,650 square feet at One Vanderbilt, represented by JLL’s Lloyd Desatnick.
• Oak Hill Advisors expanded by 23,848 square feet at One Vanderbilt to 69,802 square feet, represented by NKF’s Lance Korman, Brian Waterman and Jared Horowitz. In both One Vanderbilt leases, CBRE’s Robert Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Emily Jones and Alex D’Amario represented ownership.
• HQ Global Workplaces, 27,825-square-foot renewal at 100 Park Ave.
• Sentry Center 810 Seventh LLC, 23,362-square-foot renewal at 810 Seventh Ave.

“2020 leasing activity continues, albeit at a slower pace in the current environment,” said SL Green’s Steven Durels. “Tenants are re-assessing per employee space allocations with an eye toward de-densifying.”
