SL Green Signs Four New Leases in Midtown
SL Green has announced three new office leases totaling 42,000 square feet and a new retail lease covering 14,000 square feet at 1185 Avenue of the Americas.
The new office leases include Slatebrook, which signed a new 14,428-square-foot, eleven-year lease on a portion of the 23rd floor; international specialty insurance firm Ryan Specialty, which leased 12,803 square feet for three years on a portion of the 23rd floor; and ICBC Standard Resources, which signed a new, 14,728-square-foot, eleven-year lease on a portion of the 15th floor. The retail lease was signed by Carnegie Diner and Naxos Greek Restaurant, covering a portion of the ground floor for a 17-year term.
“Leasing velocity continues to improve throughout the market as evidenced by these recent new leases,” said Steven Durels, SL Green’s EVP and director of Leasing and Real Property.
